Alan qualified over 30 years ago and so has extensive experience as an Orthodontist. After graduating in dentistry from Queen’s University Belfast, Alan went on to gain invaluable hospital-based experience as well as a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons In Glasgow and completed 3 years of postgraduate training in Orthodontics at Cardiff Dental Hospital. Having obtained his D.Orth in 1991 and his M.Orth, M.D.O. and M.Sc.D in 1992, Alsn returned to Northern Ireland and established his own practice. Alan is also an international member of the American Association of Orthodontists and a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the Northern Ireland Orthodontic Group.
Alan established the Lisburn practice in 1992 and has built a patient-focused practice that delivers exceptional quality care.
Fiona West - Dental Hygienist/Practice Manager

Having qualified as a Dental Nurse from The Royal Victoria Hospital in 1986, Fiona then went on to successfully qualify as a Dental Hygienist from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1988.
Fiona understands the importance of continuing professional development and has also worked hard to achieve the Certificate of Radiography in 2007.
Fiona is welcoming the challenge of establishing herself as a capable Practice Manager and is focused on further improving upon the long established reputation Lisburn Orthodontics enjoys as a patient-centric provider of high quality orthodontic care.
Catherine Robb, Dentist

After qualifying from the University of Leeds in 1999 with a BChD, Catherine has worked hard to gain excellent experience in general practice.
This includes finishing VT in NHS practice in Ballyclare, working as an associate in a number of practices and becoming a partner in Randalstown in 2003, where she is the Radiation Protection Supervisor.
Over the last 10 years, Catherine has thrived on combining her work in general practice with being an Orthodontic Assistant to Alan. Most particularly, Catherine enjoys meeting people of all ages and from all walks of life and applies her skills and experience to boosting their self-confidence, helping them to overcome dental anxiety and improving their appearance through simple but innovative cosmetic treatments.
